UPCOMING EVENTS
All monthly meetings will include:

One of our experienced members will be available to show new members how to bench their roses. As soon as you arrive, please let us know you would like help. As our meetings start at 8.00pm, the roses need to be on the benches before this time. Please bring along your best roses from your garden, at 7.20pm, they don’t have to be perfect. This is the best way to learn what you need to do to prepare them for judging.

We have a Novice Section and each time you bench your roses, you will learn more. Preparing your roses for benching at monthly meetings will give you experience and confidence to participate in our next Rose Show. You are encouraged to participate because the more blooms there are on the benches, the more spectacular the display will be.

There will be a table for “unknown” roses. Bring along your mystery rose.

Laminating Machine is available for those who need to laminate their Rose Labels for the Rose Show—cost is $0.35 per page.

Door prize - a rose bush donated by Swiss Rose Nursery.

Please bring a plate of food to share for Supper to finish off the evening.

Chat with other rose growers over Supper.

The Rose Society of WA will have a stand there to promote our club. We are looking for volunteers from the society to help out for a couple of hours on that weekend.

Topic: A Workshop designed to help members to learn
how to prepare your Roses for a competition.
An explanation of:
a. How to collect Roses.
b. The Competition Rules and Schedules.
Then we will break up into groups for the practical phase of the workshop.
Please bring along three or four Roses if possible. These will be used when you are in your groups practising benching Roses.
Please come along to our Rose Show. Our Members will benching there Roses for judging on Saturday morning.
We will be open to the public, please see the timings above.
There will be some roses for sale, afternoon/morning teas, gifts for sale & raffle prizes.
Entrance fee: $5.00 Per Person
