ENTRY FEE:  $3.00 entry per person, includes a raffle ticket.

 

The hall opens at 6.30pm and we need some able bodied

helpers to assist with setting up tables and chairs in the hall.
 

Members can place their roses on the benches during this time for the monthly competition. There may not be many entries because members' rose bushes will most likely have been pruned in readiness for the upcoming National Rose Society of Australia Competition and Convention to be held at the South Perth Community Centre Hall from 21st - 22nd October. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THIS DATE IN YOUR DIARY AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS.

 

NOTE:  The RSWA green vases will be available to use for another section on the benches for those members who would like to bring their roses from home for display only - no competition.  Or if you have a rose that you would like to know the name of, bring it along and hopefully one of our very experienced members will be able to identify it for you.

MEETING STARTS:  7:30pm to approx 8.30pm

AGM Meeting, Election of Office Bearers and General Meeting.

PRUNING TALK:  At the last meeting, Lloyd Tarrant's pruning video was cut short due to technical issues so the remainder of this very informative video will be played - approx 10 minutes left.  A copy of the video will be available for sale - cost $10.

​

GARDEN HELP:  Bring your gardening questions, or problems from your garden in a zip-lock bag and we will try to help identify and give you a solution.

​

SUPPER & FELLOWSHIP:  From approx 8.30pm to 9.30pm

Please bring a plate to share after the meeting.  Free Tea and Coffee provided by our wonderful kitchen volunteers.
