VOLUNTEERING AUSTRALIA GRANT: 

We value our volunteers and wanted to do something special to recognise their hard work, so applied to Volunteering WA for a Grant for a Special Celebration Supper for our members and to present our volunteers with a Certificate of Appreciation. 

 

We are thrilled to announce that Volunteering WA has approved our Grant Application and the money will be used  to recognise our volunteers at our Volunteers Celebration Supper.

6.30pm  SET UP: 

The hall opens at 6.30pm for some able-bodied helpers to assist with putting out the tables and chairs.

 

6.45pm to 7.30pm  BENCH YOUR ROSES: 

Members can place their roses on the benches for the monthly competition.  If you need help, please ask at the front desk and one of our experienced members will be available to assist you.

7.30pm  to 8.30pm MEETING AND PRESENTATION TO OUR VOLUNTEERS, FOLLOWED BY PRESENTATIONS TO OUR AUTUMN SHOW WINNERS: 

Members who won prizes at the Autumn Show will be presented with their trophies, certificates and winnings.

​8.30pm to 9.45pm SUPPER: 

Free supper, tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided.

 

MINGLE: 

This will be a casual, relaxed meeting for members to mingle, pick each other's brains and absorb various gardening and rose growing tips, although we are sure there will be many other interesting topics of discussion throughout the evening.
